Position Overview: Walnut Media is seeking a highly motivated Assistant General Manager to help lead our growing multimedia operations. This role will partner closely with the President/CEO to oversee sales performance, revenue growth, and strategic initiatives across all divisions of Walnut Media. The ideal candidate will be a proven sales leader with strong operational skills who can inspire teams, build client relationships, and support the overall success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead sales strategy and execution across radio, digital marketing, and podcast divisions.

• Recruit, train, and coach sales professionals to achieve and exceed revenue goals.

• Partner with programming, marketing, and operations teams to align business initiatives with revenue objectives.

• Assist the CEO with budgeting, planning, and day-to-day operational oversight.

• Monitor sales data and prepare reports to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

• Build and maintain strong client, partner, and community relationships.

• Support a collaborative, accountable, and positive company culture.

• Represent Walnut Media at industry events and community functions.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of progressive sales and leadership experience in media, advertising, or marketing (radio/digital background preferred).

• Demonstrated success in managing and growing sales teams.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency with CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and digital advertising platforms.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
