Corporate Business Manager, Walnut Media- Omaha, Nebraska

The Business Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating various administrative and operational tasks to ensure the efficient and organized functioning of the office. Managing office resources, liaison with building management as well as the CEO, Chairman and Board of Directors.

Primary job duties and responsibilities:

• Administrative Management for the various divisions of Walnut Media, including 6 radio stations, Performance Digital, Performance Podcasts, Boombox Entertainment and parent company, Walnut Private Equity Partners.

• Manage and organize office records, documents, and files.

• Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and events that affect the office as a whole.

• Prepare and distribute internal and external communications, including memos, emails to highlight information needed by all office staff

• Maintain office supplies and equipment, and order new supplies as needed.

• Human Resources

• Coordinate new hire onboarding process

• Division Budgets and Financial Management:

• Process invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders.

• Prepare any required reports to Accounts team, CEO and Chairman.

• Manage office security, including access control and alarm systems.

• Foster a positive and productive work culture within the office.

• Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and service providers.

• Oversee office technology, including email, computers, software, and working with IT department

 

Qualifications include:

• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office suite).

• Strong verbal and written communication skill

• Detail-oriented and highly organized

• Good time management and prioritization abilities

• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to ever-changing scenarios

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Degree in business administration, management, or a related field.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.

• Proven experience in office management or a similar administrative role.
